#GOATtalk
Well…it’s Valentine’s Day. The cool thing is that it’s my very first V-Day as a married woman, and I gotta say…nothing’s changed. Just a little bit more planning, because we both have to work around each other’s schedules now that we live together. As a matter of fact, we decided to beat the typical Valentine’s Day rush, and celebrated yesterday. What does this have to do with the featured shoes?
Absolutely NOTHING.
I just thought I’d share. Lol!
Normally, we equate RED with this holiday. So I decided to showcase some of my favorite red sneakers that, while they may not be new releases, they are still just as capable of keeping you feeling festive on this “Day of LOVE.”
Instead of wearing all red, I decided to wear some black kicks because I honestly just felt as though they looked better, and they happen to be one of my favorite shoes. Below is a full breakdown of my entire outfit:
Blazer: Red (from Express)
Pants: Red (from Express)
T-shirt: Black “I Love Shoes So Much” (from Kicking It, in Austin, TX.)
Socks: Green w/large golden bee (from Urban Outfitters)
Sneakers: Black, Milk (cream), and Red heart (Comme Des Garcon Converse)
This year, I decided to step out and keep it classy. I believe in BOLD statements and being expressive whenever I put an outfit together. I am under the impression that you can tell A LOT about a person, by how they piece their threads together. Hopefully my outfit “leads with love,” which is exactly how I intend to live out the rest of my life.
Because after all, while three things remain: faith, hope, and love…the GREATEST OF ALL THESE is #LOVE!
Good God, Good Shoes
