Wash Your HANDs🧼
This was my first DMP (Defining Moments Pack) purchase. So I was super excited when it finally came in the mail and showed up at my doorstep. But I was also taken back by the sheer size of the box when it appeared. It was as if I totally forgot that I purchased 2 whole pairs of shoes.
The point that I’m trying to make is that we all can relate to this. When a specific event takes place, or life happens, which calls for us to “make it happen” or “get’er done,” it can sometimes shock us at how we managed to make whatever it is, happen. Under normal circumstances, we probably would not have gone about getting things done this particular way. When inevitably, whatever it took to get it done, was inside of us this entire time! Sometimes we fail to tap into what God has blessed us with because…well..we forgot🤷🏾‍♀️ Our own abilities, shock us when we’re challenged. God has given each one of us something special to assist us in making it through this thing called life. And not JUST “make it,” but to have an abundant life.
What God has given us is MASSIVE. It’s DEEP. And it’s LIFE-CHANGING. Not to mention, it comes with an undeniably legendary story.
Now is the time to take advantage of the time…the “moment” that God has given all of us. I encourage us to tap into that potential that God has blessed us with, NOW. And I’m pretty sure that you have plenty of time now that the nation has been forced to take a sabbatical (be in quarantine). THIS. IS. YOUR. #DefiningMOMENT! And, you don’t have to go about it, alone…God is with you. And, He can NOT fail. So…
Carpe diem fam.
Below is a complete breakdown of my outfit:
Blouse: A New Day from Target (Black)
Slacks: A New Day from Target (Red)
Cardigan: Mossimo from Target (Mustard)
Socks: Urban Outfitters (Nintendo: Red, Black, Gray)
Whether you decide to dress this up, be completely casual, or put on clothes only to make your way to the living room since you’ve been sentenced to the couch, per your state’s orders, there’s no doubt that BOTH of these shoes are sure to suffice. And, you’ll look DOPE in your living room.
Good God, Good Shoes
