If you’re anything like me, then you’ve heard the story about Jesus and how He rose…

And just when I thought that there was nothing else that could be taken from it, here comes the Lord…and I had a “V8” moment🤦🏾‍♀️ I’ve always been intrigued by the Scripture’s ability to “hit different,” practically EVERY TIME that I indulge in it. Same verses. Same stories. Nothing has changed…but I have. EVERY TIME.

Originally, the kicks that I had lined up were scheduled for last month, with it being “Women’s Appreciation Month” and all. Everything was prepped and ready to go. But then…some pandemic struck the world: COVID-19. And at first, I was flustered. I was frustrated and I was irritated. How can something like this totally rearrange my whole schedule and turn my entire life upside down? As a result, due to the new norm; social distancing, I’ve been locked in the house and forced to go back to the drawing board. I sat on the idea for a while. I’m a planner, so when things don’t go as planned, a piece of thread begins to show, and I begin to unravel a bit.

Then, it came to me. I already had everything laid out. And then…everything that you could think of, went wrong. And as a result, I had to record THIS video, along with another one…THREE TIMES‼️ Trust me when I tell you that I had ALMOST thrown in the towel! But then I was reminded of the Lord’s tomb…and how He refused to allow a sealed cave to stop Him. And how He got up, so that I could imitate that same, said, behavior, throughout my own life. And before I knew it…I was right back at it!

These sneakers are obviously made to play basketball in. But CLEARLY that’s NOT what my intent and purpose was. So, if you’re a basketball player (for a hobby), then I’d definitely sign off on this shoe due to the incredible “React” that’s in the sole of the shoes. They are super comfortable and they hug your feet just right. However, for those of you who simply want to look amazing and bright at the same time, then this is also the shoe for you!
